Horn Point Laboratory maintains a portable touch tank that can be stocked with various fishes native to the Chesapeake Bay for outreach to kids at no charge. Touch is available for educational, community and civic groups.
If you would like to have the Touch Tank visit your event, please contact Katie McKone at 410.221.8383 or email touchtank@hpl.umces.edu to check on availability or for any addition information you may need. There is a form that needs to be filled out to request the tank. Make your reserversation early as our schedule fills quickly.
The touch tank must be located within 50 feet of a 110-120 Volt outlet. We CANNOT use extension chords or adapters.
